On August 25, 2012 John & Eva met at a mutual friends wedding. After a night of dancing and silly photo booth pictures, John asked to see Eva again. After many dates and 4 years of happiness later, John proposed on their annual apple picking family outing at Brooksby Farm. Eva said yes without hesitation and the couple will be getting married on September 2nd, 2017. The couple will have a rustic wedding with plenty of natural and organic elements. The event will filled with romance, unique touches and plenty of fun.

Anticipation

Accessories will be simple yet romantic. For the bride, a delicate hair piece and coordinating earrings will be the added sparkle she needs. The bride will walk down the aisle in vintage lace heels. She will be carrying a custom made lace umbrella and a bouquet filled with blue, green, and white flowers. The groom will wear a boutonniere to match the brides bouquet.

The Attire will have a rustic, vintage flare with coordinating colors of muted blues, silvers, and greys. The bride will wear a vintage lace gown, while her husband sports a slate blue suit. Bridesmaids will wear a slate blue tulle skirt which will coordinate with the flower girls gray tulle skirt. The mother of the bride will shine in a silvery lace cocktail dress.

Arrival

Atmosphere

To excite guests about the upcoming nuptials, the couple will first release a series of photos on social media. Following the social media announcements, a save the date will be sent out. Within the last few months before the wedding, a formal invitation and a bridal shower invitation will be sent out.

Upon arrival to the venue guests will be greeted with signs to point them in the right direction. The delicate hand painted signs will be a small taste of the overall feel of the event. Guests will find pictures of the bride and groom when entering the barn as well as place cards and the evenings timeline. As guests arrive, the Bride and Groom will make their entrance in a horse drawn carriage.

The event will glow with candles and fairy lights. The dim lighting will cast a romantic feel on the evening with splashes of fresh greens, and muted blues throughout. 

The food will be fit for any appetite. The cocktail hour will include a charcuterie board that can feed 100+ guests, mini shrimp cocktails, and a variety of warm horderves. Following cocktail hour will be a sit down meal with menu options including prime rib and a delicate white fish. As the night progresses, snacks ranging from a popcorn bar, to mini sliders accompanied by craft beer will be available. The night will end with wedding cake, mini creme brulees, a cookie bar, and a macaron truck.

To keep guests entertained throughout the night activities will include; A cigar bar, A dance floor and band, an artist painting the scene in real time, multiple photo booths, and a sparkler send off.

Appreciation

John and Eva will thank the guests from the moment they enter the event, to months after they leave. As guest enter they will be greeted with a sign that shares John & Evas sincerest thank yous. Personalized gifts will be given to their parents, the bridesmaids, and groomsmen. All guests will leave with a slice of wedding cake in a customized box, as well as a bottle of olive oil. John & Eva will also send out personalized thank you cards when they return from their honeymoon in a few weeks.
